Awkwafina

American musician and actor Awkwafina made her debut with humorous rap tracks that tackled sexual identity and race with a the most outrageous comedy perspective prior to broadening her reach to Hollywood. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese as well as Korean parents who hail from Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was Nora's first instrument. The classical, jazz, and hip-hop studies began when she was a teenager. In college, she studied journalism and women's studies. Then, she even had some time learning Mandarin in Beijing. However, it wasn't until she graduated that she shifted her focus on music. The track My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity via the Internet in the year 2012. It eventually made it on the album debut Yellow Ranger released in 2014. The album also featured viral hit tracks like body positive Queef and winking tour of her home NYC Bitche$. The track that was the last one to be closely linked to Awkwafina's NYC travel guide, released in the year 2015. After having a great career as a singer and songwriter, she chose to assume the role of actor. Aside from early TV shows such as Girl Code and Tawk, she has also been featured in films like Neighbors2Storks as well as Bad Rap. In the year 2018 she scored many breakthrough roles, such as Dude Ocean's Eight or Crazy Rich Asians. Then in June, she launched the EP in Fina We Trust.
