Country-pop and actor writer Jana Kramer rose to fame through television, where she was part of the team of One Tree Hill as Alex for its final three seasons. The show showcased her first albums as country music which helped her debut album to the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One by 2015 was the follow-up and reached Number Ten. In the last decade, she was a guest as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars as well in TV movies and a number of television programs. The singer also released several singles, but they were not albums. In 2021, The Self-Doubting Voices came out. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native, who grew up on country music. Though she had the acting and recording professions but her first screen appearance was in the horror independent movie Dead/Undead (2002) when she was still at high school. After a few guest appearances in All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed the role of Noelle Davenport in NBC Friday Night Lights in the 2nd season, 2007-2008. Kramer next appeared in 90210 for the character of Portia Randson from 2008-2009, as well as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. Then in 2009, she was part of One Tree Hill's ensemble as Alex Dupre. Alongside the Top Five country hit I Got the Boy as well as a duet featuring Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it fared even better reaching number three on country's albums chart, and tenth on the Billboard 200. The album was released after a period of two months in the 23rd Dancing with the Stars season her final score was 4th. The singer also had an adult contemporary smash with the song Feels like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
