Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a famous American actor and singer. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell - a television director - she is an American actor and singer. Her ancestry is Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish and Scottish (father). Kristen found her talent in entertainment as a young age. She was cast in the role of Raggedy Ann in 1992 after going to the first audition. Bell was appointed by her mom as an agent when she was only 13 years old. Then, she was cast for newspaper ads and TV commercials. Also, Bell began taking acting lessons privately. Bell played an uncredited part of Polish Wedding (1998), the film that was released in 1998. Bell participated in the Drama and Music Club at Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz production at the high school she attended earned her the starring Dorothy role. Bell studied musical theatre at the world-renowned Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. in 2001 Bell left university to play the role as Becky as Becky in Tom Sawyer. The same year, she was the first to be credited as Pootie Tang. Pootie Tang (2001), however, her performance was cut and her character was not shown in the credit sequence. Bell made an appearance with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
