Courteney Cox
Courteney Cox is the American actress, director and producer. Her most well-known work is her performance in the TV show 'Friends' as well as in one of her main characters in the 'Scream' movie franchise. Her birthplace was in Birmingham, Alabama and developed an interest in acting as an early child. She was enrolled in the study of the field of architecture in Mount Vernon College in Washington, DC; however, she ultimately left school to pursue a fulltime acting career. Her movie debut by playing in the film 'Down Twisted'. She started gaining fame after playing one of her most prominent characters in the horror-slasher film "Scream'. The film was profitable commercially, and it earned eleven times its budget. It also received acclaim by the film's critics. Cox reprised her part in the entire trilogy to the movie. Her popularity reached new heights after she played an important role on the popular sitcom 'Friends'. There were numerous nominations and awards for her performances. The series with a huge success, ran for 10 years. Recent projects include a part in the film drama "Mothers and daughters". One of the many prizes she won include she was awarded the TV Guide Award for her role in the show "Friends," as well as the Golden Derby Award for her performance in the TV series "Cougar Town".
